Tired + Moody = PMS ?
Had a bad day today. Its an everything went wrong day.
I feel that my life is running me rather than I run my life sometimes. Things are like moving in different directions at the same time in an out of control manner.
Why like that.
Very tired.
Perhaps its due to all the early waking ups to travel to Thomson Plaza for work every morning. Perhaps its due to the world-war-4 type of hectic and chaotic working environment where everyone wants a piece of you – emails coming in every 5 minutes, DID ringing non-stop, mobile messages keep beeping and on top of that, you get interrupted every 10 minutes as someone needs to ask something or someone need you to do something or.. Ai ya, it just goes on and on and on.
Plus my buddy colleagues working at my old office, Bt Timah Plaza, are working till 2am everyday (Mondays to Saturdays, Sunday half-day)! Imagine they work till 2am, reach home 2.30am, bathe 3am and sleep only at 3.30am. Then at 6am, they got to wake up for work and the whole cycle goes on again. Siao one leh!
I’m being requested to go back there as the new girls have problems. Sighs.. I so do not want to work till 2am lor.
Working in banks simply sucks!

Start hunting for jobs now, by the time u got the offer, that will be like January. Just nice for you to THROW your letter right at their FACE! Every day work until 2:00Am, that’s SIAO ok! I work 8AM to 8PM and I really cannot tahan liao. Linda, banking is not your cup of tea lah, MOVE OUT and face reality. You can contribute more to the society by entering into other areas, dun waste your talent there.
When I looked at myself, I nearly had a shock, SO MUCH WHITE HAIR and face is like erupted volcano, cannot make it. Like that how to tahan another 35 – 45 working years?

btw NTU has a new sch… Sch of PMS (physical and mathematical sciences).. ppl there are entitled to mood swings

n to a totally unrelated person: cal make sure u dont go into banking ok. u cannot tahan the hrs lah. u will fall aslp. in the middle of the day. hahahahahhaha.

sek ling ~ nope, no cash. we have a lot of campaigns and initiatives that need to do follow-up calls to cms and administrative things. during office hours, we attend to the cms (fax, email, phone, walkins). then only got time after office hours do all those administrative things lor. and its a lot. you know banks have a freakingly high level of paperwork. we kill so much trees.
