36 Hours A Day
I need more time!
My new school semester has started so I’ve classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. That leave either Tuesdays to do my assignments, catch up on work, meet up some friends, attend whatever trainings/briefings/meetings by office and Fridays to be at home to do some housework, spend time with family or vice versa. Saturdays mornings Regan has swim class, afternoons occupied with meeting projects mates to discuss our assignments and family dinners at nights. Laundry itself takes up whole Sundays with some time for me to read up my school notes plus do a bit of grocery shopping.
I’m putting in more effort at school since it’s the final lap and I want to get my degree over and done with at all cost. Trying to be on time for lectures but work is quite heavy this couple of weeks with so many call campaigns. Doesn’t help to make me feel better that my colleague is going on maternity and clashes with my exam schedule in October. (>.<)
In line with my goal, I’ve also basically given up my part time job at the renovation forum and drop my hobby of surfing the net. Target to sleep before 12am every weekday night so that I’ve more energy the next day. It’s tough to meet that timeline even without logging online since I only reach home at 11pm on days I’ve school and I still got to bathe and have dinner.
Ok la, got to go change. It’s dar’s birthday today and going for dinner soon. Nothing fanciful since he is very uncle so like to eat zi char, hence going to one of his favourite stall at Queensway market.

Friday At Work
I’m really happy to be doing what I’m currently doing. It’s what I want in a job at this moment in time. Despite being busy like crazy now and then, the rest of the time is great. I love my usual bunch of lunch colleagues and enjoy chatting about all the bo liao things.
A typical day (sometimes more sometimes less sometimes schedule messy sometimes all planned out):
8am Reach Shenton Way for monthly economy briefing
9am Have breakfast
10am Work (accounts, credit cards, investments)
1pm Lunch and shopping
3pm Continue working (appointments, customers campaigns calling)
5pm Tea
6pm Clearing up the day’s work (ensuring did not left out doing anything urgent)
7pm Home sweet home
But having this happy feeling worries me. Actually having happy thoughts worries me. It’s like I never know when I will lose all this happy feelings. Though I know the saying goes ‘why worry about something that may never happen’ I just can’t help but worry.
To whomever arranges our destiny, fate, life and everything else, I really appreciate all I have and what I have. I hope what I feel will not be fleeting but forever.
Desperate Housewives
Joining the ranks of Friends and Ally McBeal in my life – Desperate Housewives. Makes me laugh like crazy, each and every episode.
I hope I can make it back in time after classes on Monday to watch it. Why can’t the planners of Mediacorp put it at the 11pm time slot instead!
